So, the microwave had a smell. It was a yucky old spaghetti-o type smell. I honestly don’t remember exploding anything in the microwave recently, and the smell sort of popped up after making some delicious pop-corn the other night. None-the-less, the smell had to go.
Apparently if you boil some water and vinegar in the microwave not only will it help remove little crusties and greasies, it will help remove any smells in the microwave as well.
We’ll see. We’ll air it out and see how it goes.

Very interesting. Let me know how it goes because i need to do this to my microwave! It looks/smells awful!

Boiling baking soda and water can work too if you get the proportions right. I like that a little better, because until the vinegar dries completely, everything smells like Easter eggs.

Hmm I’ve never heard that, hope it works for you.

Hmm, I’ve never heard the vinegar part. I always do the water thing because it definitely makes it easier to clean. I’ll have to try the vinegar thing next time!
